It’s warming up!

I really have to do better about posting updates.  I have been busy though.

I just got done filiming a small supporting role on the film “What’s The Point?”  It was written, directed, and stars the fabulous Lake Bell.  It also stars Ed Helms, Paul Reiser, Mary Steenbergen, and on and on.  It’s a star studded cast and was a blast to shoot.  I play a mechanic named Willy.  The ensemble comedy is about the concept that marriage should be a seven-year contract with an option to renew.  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3234084/combined

I also recently filmed a supporting role in “Please Stand By”  with Dakota Fanning, Toni Collette, and Alice Eve.  It was also a great shoot and an honor to work with Dakota Fanning and Marla Gibbs.  It’s about a young autistic woman who runs away from her caregiver in an attempt to submit her manuscript to a writing competition.  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4652650/combined

The role I shot for Hidden America with Jonah Ray will be released on SeeSo on June 2nd.  I play a guy from Austin, Texas who has gotten tired of all the P.C. that has taken over in the country.  It is an insanely funny segment and will feature my first T.V. kiss.  Good times!  http://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/thingstarter-hidden-america-jonah-ray-new-comedy-shows-coming-seeso/

The New Year

Its the start of a new year and I am so fortunate to be starting it busy.  After a fantastic holiday break spent with family and friends, I am returning to get started on some great projects. First up I will be spending some time in Montana shooting a supporting role in a preview short – featurette – introducing the feature length project in development – THE PATCH.

The project is an adaptation of the novel “Dakota” by Gwen Florio and is being produced by Konrad Tho Fiedler and Excuse Me Productions.  You can read more about it here: The Patch

Upon returning from Montana, I will be filming a small supporting role in PLEASE STAND BY.  It is a film about a young aspiring autistic screenplay writer, played by Dakota Fanning and supported by her care giver, Helen Hunt.  Check out the details for that project at: Please Stand By

In addition to the projects I am about to film, some are already in the can and about to hit the airwaves.  On January 10th, a new Fox Show, Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life will air it’s second episode.  Check me out along with the amazing Paula Abdul.  I learned a few new moves from her….sorta.

And then in February watch for me on Nickelodeo on “Game Shakers” with a great cast including the hilarious  Kel Mitchell. I’m in episode 17 of season 1 titled “Diss Track”.

Much more to announce soon….when they will let me.  Dream Big!

Summertime

Well its been sometime since I have updated.  There are lots of good things on the horizon.  I have the 2 episodes of “The Last Ship” on TNT coming up on July 12th and 19th.  If you look for me, on the 12th I have a small role and on the 19th a bigger role

.

I sadly was cut out of my scene with Jennifer Love Hewitt on Criminal Minds.  But they had me back in auditioning again, and although I didn’t get it I feel good about upcoming opportunities.

I also booked a gig on an upcoming video game.  The new James Bond mobile game that will hopefully be out sometime this summer.  I will be on your phone playing a villain so be scared!

I also have a small supporting role in the film originally titled Avenging Angel but now is called I Spit On Your Grave: Vengeance is Mine.  If you are familiar with the genre this is the 3rd in the series (I Spit On Your Grave 3)  It is set for an October 2015 release.

One of my goals at the beginning of the year was to tackle a long time dream of mine to give stand up comedy a goal.  Since then I have been studying and taking classes and getting up at some open mics.  I have also performed twice at Second City Hollywood and twice at Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank during their pro-am shows.  I am really enjoying it.  I feel like along with improv, it is a great compliment to acting.  It is not easy and I have a lot of respect for those that make it look so easy.

Speaking of improv, I am now in the conservatory at Second City. Like stand up, it is not as easy as it looks.  It has definitely helped me during auditions.  I have performed in 2 improv shows at Second City and have made so many friends.

That’s it for now.  I’ll try to do a better job of keeping everyone up to date.  Thanks for all the support!

Criminal Minds & The Last Ship again! 1/10/2015

What an amazing month of December and start to the new year!

I was invited back for a 2nd episode of The Last Ship…RECURRING!

So as I was on set in my trailer filming my second episode of The Last Ship, I get a text from my manager saying I was pinned for an episode of Criminal Minds!

So this week I finished filming The Last Ship, went to a table read for Criminal Minds, and found out I booked a supporting role on an upcoming movie.

And today is my birthday.

🙂

The Last Ship and SAG

December 7th

Great start to December, with a Co-star role filmed this past week in TNT’s hit show The Last Ship.  The cast and crew were both really great and professional.  I also became a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG) which is a goal for every aspiring actor.  These were both goals I  had set out to accomplish by the end of the year, when I moved to L.A.  I feel motivated and a lot of momentum going into the new year and into the pilot season.
